No, trying to move your Kneel-It while using the seat will snap the pin and cause the seat to break.
Yes. Our Soft polyurethane wheels keep even the softest hardwoods safe. However, if you use your wheels on a rough surface and rough up the wheels themselves they may cause damage to more delicate flooring. We recommend using two sets of wheels if you use your Kneel-It on both rough and delicate surfaces.
I am renovating my rental house that was totally damaged. I saw this product on a Canadian guys instagram (remarkableworks) and it looked great. I get a lot of headaches getting up and down all the time when I am doing flooring.
Laying tile: worked great sliding around to grab the tiles and glue. Grouting was also a lot easier with this tool. I know i saved time and headache pain. I did not use the Kneelit when cleaning the tiles, to prevent wheel marks in the fresh grout. Not a big deal.
Laying laminate: again faster to move around. Took a bit to get used to the balance as I did not use a wood subfloor and did not want to roll on the foam underlay. I did try rolling on the foam but made too many compression marks. I had to install it while rolling on the new laminate. Not quite as easy from the top but still quick.
Only issues I ran into were; the middle wheel would jam between knees when doing laminate as I had to lean more over with my knees together. I adjusted my working angle / balance and solved that issue. The pads are nice but not as comfy as I hoped. That being said, if I used it more, I am sure they would break in better. I am also about 225lbs so maybe some extra pressure on my shins.
Overall, I would recommend this item, and think it is a great design. This is a solidly built item as well. I will be laying about 1000' of baseboard next and expect this tool to again help me eliminate the headaches, and speed up my process as I am doing most of this work alone. Also, I will be doing this on newly refinished floor, I do not see any issue with these wheels causing damage. Sliding is much faster than getting up and down each time.
After a little switch up with a faulty product we're finally using the kneel it and it has doubled what we're able to get done in the same time frame. Very comfortable and a huge game changer. Recommend to everyone doing tile and flooring
Wheeled around for a few minutes on a laminate floor after assembly. Wheels very nicely and it is adjustable for a wider leg spread or narrow. I found narrow suited me. No complaints or any foreseeable at this juncture.
Its a Christmas gift so the box has not been opened yet.
